Edward Hall Diary Collection

The Edward Hall Diary Collection is a near-unique collection of over 250 manuscript diaries and journals, dating from 1698 to the 1940s and collected by one man, Edward Hall. The collections is cared for at Wigan Archives & Local Studies and several of the diaries have been transcribed and printed to spread the word about these wonderful historic records.
