Youth Cabinet, 2022

Written by Leigh Council pupil Arthur Mangnall, this essay describes the students vising the House of Commons and witnessing the site where Guy Fawkes was arrested on the 5 November 1605 for attempting to blow up the Houses of Parliament.  Youth Cabinet were impressed with the attention to detail and noted that Arthur wrote very specific things such as dates and how the clock in St Stephen's Tower is twenty-three feet and nine inches!
