Your local youth council, often called a 'youth voice group', is where young people can have their say about the things that concern them in their area. They are free and youth workers support these sessions to enable young people to have their say and make a difference.
The views of young people at these sessions will always be listened to and youth workers can help get thier views to people who make decisions. There may also be an opportunity to do interesting activities such as making films, arts projects or organising events.
Local youth council groups are run in Ashton, Leigh, Wigan, Tyldesley, Abram and Worsley Hall.
