Photograph of a crowd of people gathered around a tank on Market Street, Wigan, during Wigan Tank Week, 15-20 April 1918. A group of dignitaries are standing on top of the tank and a group of wounded soldiers and members of the Manchester Regiment are standing in front of the Market Hall. The street is decorated with banners and a temporary Tank Office constructed.
