Image of barge, thought to be the steel steam barge ELLESBURN built for the Wolverhampton Corrugated Iron Company Limited by Yarwoods of Northwich in 1920. She was sold to Burton & Son Limited, Liverpool, in November 1947 and later to the Bootle Barge Company, Bootle, in November 1959. She was converted to diesel propulsion by Yarwoods in 1937 when a Gardner engine was fitted. She was scrapped in 1970. (Carington Family Photograph).
