Image is taken at the pedestrain crossing just before the junction with Lovers' Lane. A lady with an umbrella is waiting at the crossing while traffic is going towards Bolton. The direction sign for Bolton, straight on and Wigan, to the left is clearly visible on the left hand side of the road.
