Acc.2010/10 (69) – Wigan Lane Lodge (1943) – letters to/from Mr Leather, a clerk at Wigan Town Hall and A. H. Clarke, Estate Offices at Haigh. Leather was desperate to live in the empty Lodge at Wigan Lane. Letters include references from the Mayor, and a list of all the improvements Leather had made to the property, such as adding electricity. (SR7/42/11 – A/4/116)
