St Helens Road, Leigh, near Pennington Church. Shows W.Woodward Tobacco Shop on the corner of Windmill Street, Leigh. The shop was demolished in August 1938. A man and woman stand in the shop doorway and three boys stand at the street corner. The boy on the left is Alan Battersby, the boy on the right is Frank Davies.
